Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in film, theater, as well as television. Her acting journey began as a theater actress and then appeared in numerous television series and independent and mainstream movies. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance on BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she made her acting debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel.
