Belknap's birthplace was Damariscotta in Maine. She is the daughter of David Belknap, and Louise Belknap. She was a student at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle Maine. Acting became her passion as she was enrolled at Middlebury College Vermont. After earning her Master's degree in Fine Arts, she studied at the American Conservatory Theater. Belknap has numerous TV credits, which include series regular roles on Medical Investigation, Third Watch, ER, The Handler as well as Deadline. PEOPLE has exclusively reported on Friday that Anna Camp separated with Skylar Aftertin following more than two and five years of union. PEOPLE received a joint press announcement from the couple which read: "We can confirm we've taken the decision to divorce. This decision was taken mutually and amicably."
